Youth Director

Whitney Avritt serves as the Youth Director for students beginning in 6th grade. Whitney has served Youth and churches through volunteerism, committees, mentoring, and teaching. She previously served as Interim Director of Christian Education at Trinity Presbyterian in Southlake, TX. She also served as a Deacon for Germantown Presbyterian Church in Germantown, TN.

A native of Greenwood, Whitney was baptized, confirmed, and married here at FPC. Whitney and her husband Alston had the opportunity to live in Memphis, Dallas Fort-Worth, and upstate New York.

Whitney received both her BS and MBA at Mississippi State University. Whitney and Alston have three children: Brewer, Adam, and Taylor.
