Ezekiel Andrew McCall in Concert

Ezekiel, age 30, finished his junior and senior years of high school at the Mississippi School for the Arts in Brookhaven, MS. He then completed a bachelor degree in vocal performance from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He has two masters of music degrees, one from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and one from the University of Southern Mississippi.

He resides in Sarasota, FL, currently and is traveling the country singing in operas and operettas, musical theater productions, and acting in Shakespearean plays. His roles include Rigoletto in “Rigoletto” with Southern Mississippi Opera and Musical Theater Co., and the Phantom, in “Phantom of the Opera” produced by the same company. Jim in “Big River”, Coalhouse Walker, Jr., in “Ragtime” both produced by the Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater Co., Kerchak in “Disney’s Tarzan” produced by Lubbock Moonlight Musicals in Lubbock, TX, to name just a few.

Ezekiel’s concert at FPC will be classical in nature, but will include sacred and spirituals as well. This will be his first public performance ever in Greenwood! He has graciously offered to sing in our worship service on Sunday, October 21 as well. It is exciting to be able to introduce him to his own hometown!
